All water intended for human consumption is governed by strict rules and regulations, and it’s vital that you ensure your supply is in compliance with these. We can carry out the necessary risk assessments for your water supply, as well as any necessary sampling and analysis. We can then provide you with effective water treatment solutions, supplying and installing everything you need at a competitive price.
Many Acts of Parliament apply to the supply of drinking water – defined as water used for domestic purposes; drinking, food preparation, washing – and failing to comply with these Acts can lead to prosecution. If you are a site owner, you have a legal obligation to ensure that the drinking water will not cause harm. To ensure a safe drinking water supply The Private Water Regulations Act (2016) sets out maximum prescribed concentrations or values for chemical and microbiological parameters. These regulations cover all water supplies intended for human consumption.
